i'm an undergraduate studying physics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, specializing in theoretical physics and machine learning theory.
my research intersects physical theories and the use of statistical techniques to accelerate simulation, optimization, and discovery.
i also have a fascination for the parallels between theoretical physics and probability-theoretic fields such as statistical learning, optimal transport, and financial markets.
outside of academics, i enjoy ultimate frisbee, jazz music, and curating my vinyl collection.
news:
↦ in may 2025, i will be attending the IMSI workshop for uncertainty quantification & machine learning for physics at the University of Chicago.
↦ in august 2025, i will be attending the QSim 2025 conference and summer school for quantum simulation at IBM, New York City.
